Beautiful pattern, easy to work up, but there is no way that 700 yds of #2 fine weight yarn using a 3.5mm hook will suffice. I had to order more yarn. I am not a “tight” crocheter.

      Dear Linda,
Thank you very much for your message! The yarn usage is based on square motifs of the size 17 x 17 cm (6.7 x 6.7 in). When they are joined the length of this top becomes 60 cm = 23.6 inches. Also fiber makes a difference – rayon, bamboo and silk are more stretchy than acrylic, wool, cotton, linen. That’s might be the reason of this discrepancy.
      Warm regards,
      FP
